Verify tenant history and automate your tax reporting — use one or both. Every payment in a Maja profile is pulled directly from the renter's bank via read-only PSD2 open banking, not self-reported.
No subscriptions and no setup fees for tenant screening — you pay only when you need extended history.
Ask applicants to send you a Maja profile link with their application. Opening it needs no account and no login on your side. You immediately see the applicant's first name and last initial, their reliability label, how many monthly rent payments were verified, how many arrived on time and an approximate rent range. You do not see their balance, their other spending or their account number, which keeps you inside what GDPR allows you to collect for a letting decision.
Every figure originates in the renter's own bank account, read over PSD2 open banking with read-only access the renter authorised and can revoke. That removes the weakest link in traditional screening: editable PDFs, screenshots and reference letters written by an interested party. A credit report only shows failures that already escalated; a Maja profile shows what actually happened month after month.
Maja files your rental income report to the Finnish Tax Administration (OmaVero) automatically every month, including retroactive months, for 4.50 € per month per property. You add the property once, confirm your details, and the report is generated from verified rent data and submitted on schedule. You get an email confirmation for each filing, and an alert if the tax authority rejects anything, so you are never surprised at the deadline.
